A symbolic image, an apology for the silence and stillness, allegorical imprisonment of women, represented by the author surrounded by bandages that do not allow movement and verbal communication, leaving only free the eyes that can see through the knowledge and continue to cultivate a free thought.
The constraints presented with bandages light, thin, that the white which reinforces the fragility and evanescence, are an expression of the opportunity to regain the freedom denied, through that journey of discovery which starts from careful observation that is not limited to the visible but digs deep into that dimension where lies the strength, the energy, the confidence to avoid a life characterized by "missed flights."
Shot submit a figurative sought, assigned to the symbols and the choice of colors, the light shines on the frame and the subject in greater allegorical that "enlightenment" needed to address a journey of transformation and freedom. (Antonella Leone)
